Top photo:  Appalachian eggrolls (half the order had been consumed at that point).  These tasty fellahs were  pulled pork seasoned with smoked jalapeño BBQ sauce, braised greens, and pickled onions, wrapped in an eggroll skin and deep-fried.  Dipping sauces of smoked jalapeño BBQ sauce and coarse-ground Dijon mustard were served on the side.  Was it good?  You guess.

Bottom photo:  a big ol’ mug of tomato bisque with an open-faced sandwich of sourdough whole wheat bread topped with fried green tomatoes, lemon aioli, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach, and melted havarti cheese.  Holy fuckalicious!
